A “handgun” was seized during a drug raid at a home in Blackpool.

00:00Police seized a suspected handgun during a dramatic drug raid at a home in Blackpool.

00:05Officers from Lancashire Police executed the warrant and address on Kingsland Grove on March 11th under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

00:12The operation was launched following concerns and information received from the local community.

00:17During a search of the property, officers discovered what appeared to be a handgun.

00:21It was later confirmed to be an imitation firearm.

00:24Several occupants were arrested and interviewed in connection with drug supply offences.

00:29Following further investigation, a 22-year-old man was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs.

00:36He was remanded in custody to appear in court.
