00:13Company Director Adam Johnston face health and safety charges brought by Blackpool Council.
00:19The charges relate to alleged breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act between July 2020
00:26and November 2023, but they do not relate to the death of Jack Piper Sheik. Jack was found
00:32unresponsive in the hotel's reception area last September after suffering an electric shock.
00:38He died four days later in hospital. After the incident, the council advised Tiffany's to close
00:44while safety checks were carried out. It was later declared safe to reopen. The hotel remains open to guests.
