00:01Shelby's 125 pounds and he was a pound and a half.

00:05She was just kind of fascinated with him.

00:09Levi felt very safe and comfortable around her from the start.

00:14He was actually thought to be terminal.

00:16He was very tiny, very frail, slept almost all the time.

00:20It turns out he was just malnourished.

00:22He went from this little frail thing to a very vigorous, beautiful, healthy Frenchie puppy.

00:33Shelby taught Levi how to play with other dogs, how to get along with other dogs.

00:38They play what we call bitey face.

00:40When he was biting down, she wouldn't get up and leave or get a little more rough.

00:45She would put her big head on his body, just enough to make it so he couldn't bite her for a minute.

00:53Levi went into a home with two pit bulls and it was a very easy transition for him.

00:59In the beginning, they really didn't want to have a lot to do with him because he was so tiny.

01:04But his huge personality, his unwillingness to admit that he's small,

01:10wipe him over in the end.

01:13He's got a really big dog personality and he's not intimidated at all.
