00:00For too long the people of Wall's End have suffered the consequences of major flooding in this part of town.

00:08It's not only been bad for residents, but it's had profound impacts for local businesses

00:12and a real constraint on the economic development of this region.

00:16So I'm so proud to be part of an albanese labor government that is investing $10 million

00:21into some major works to ensure, to help with both flood mitigation

00:27and to return this gorgeous Imbart Creek into a beautiful state that it once was.

00:33Only a Labor government would do this.

00:36And I really want to thank the people of Wall's End and Sonia Hornery, the state member for Wall's End,

00:42for her strong advocacy over such a long period of time now to start getting things moving

00:47and returning this beautiful creek to its natural beauty.
