00:17little bit about the medical massage when you have pain with our friend, Nova Gescheidmeyer

00:24and her staff. They'll take good care of you. So we're not only talking about pain with medical

00:29massage, but we're also talking about using chiropractic care in with that pain and medical

00:35massage therapy as well. Why is it called medical massage therapy and not just I'm going to get a

00:41massage? Absolutely. And that's probably the biggest reason why people think that massage is more of a

00:46frou-frou kind of light-handed. I'm only going to do it if I have extra time. We actually get to know

00:53our patients, do a full intake on their health history. We figure out what is going wrong and

00:58how we need to address it using the medical massage. And we call it medical massage because

01:03we have different tools that we can use. We can do massage therapy, stretching. We can do cupping.

01:10We can do exercises. There's so many options that we have to lower that pain level and actually create

01:15sustainable change in the body. So the muscles have memory. So you get a massage, maybe go grab some

01:22chiropractic care, make sure everything that that massage was trying to correct actually stays in place.
