00:00Meanwhile, the Palace highlighted the country's 1.8 percent inflation rate in March, the lowest

00:06recorded in the past five years.

00:09During a Palace Press briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary-Attorney Claire Castro

00:14said that the decline was largely driven by slower price increases in food and non-alcoholic

00:21beverages.

00:22One notable factor was the 7.7 percent drop in rice prices, a steeper decline compared

00:28to the 4.9 percent recorded in February.

00:32The Palace also assured the public that the government remains committed to delivering

00:36jobs and quality public services, especially to the underprivileged.
