00:05Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said,

00:09the effect of the misinformation is now spreading not only in the Philippines but also in other countries.

00:16According to the Secretariat of State, it is the people who are spreading the false information.

00:21The government will now ask the relevant agencies to stop spreading fake news,

00:26even to the individuals behind it.

00:31You know, it is very difficult.

00:34Our condition now is that the effect of fake news is very severe.

00:39It's not only the Philippines, it's the entire world that is suffering the brunt of the deceit

00:48that is derived from fake news.

00:53It is very severe. It should be prosecuted.
