00:20Joan is one of my songwriting heroes and I got to see her play live in Durban once and

00:25she played about five songs from this record before the power went out and she left the

00:30stage and never came back.

00:32Adrian Lincoln's Bright Future, anything Adrian told me to do I would do it and this record

00:38is incredible.

00:39I think I've listened to Sadness Is A Gift On Repeat for at least 16 hours in the last

00:44year.

00:45Oliver Arnold's Remember is one of my most listened to records every year.

00:50It's an instrumental album and I've listened to it in the shower nine times out of ten

00:55showers I reckon.

00:57Sonny Waugh's Armageddon In A Summer Dress, pretty cool name for a record, has come out

01:04recently and it's a really powerful, very political, very beautiful record by Sonny

01:13who I saw play at SXSW in Austin, Texas a couple of years ago and I missed a seminar

01:22because I stayed for her whole set, it was very good.

01:26My final pick is The Indestructible Beat Of Soweto.

01:30It's a compilation album and I'm just gonna read three lyrics from the back which I think

01:34are pretty good.

01:35Just stop and listen my friend and I will tell you, if you talk to me about my girlfriends

01:40we will never be friends again.
