00:00Residents from the fishing village in southwest Iceland evacuated after the lava began to spew from a volcanic eruption.

00:08According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, the eruption started on the Sunnokkagiðar crater row north of the fishing village in Grindavík.

00:18As of now, the meteorological office will dispatch a helicopter to determine the exact location and size of the eruption.

00:25To recall, the agency warned the residents near the area that the eruption might happen since an earthquake swarm started early in the morning.
