00:14The Muslim Brotherhood prayed early in the morning

00:17and headed to the Grino Grandstand in Manila

00:19to pray for the end of Ramadan.

00:22The Moonlighting was held in different parts of the Philippines for a few days

00:26and this was the last time the full moon was released

00:29which is a sign of the beginning of the new lunar month of Shawwal

00:32for our Muslim brothers.

00:34According to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, NCMF,

00:38part of the thanks to their God, Allah, is the Eid al-Fitr.

00:41It is also a form of obedience to orders and sacrifices.

00:45This is a form of worship that we are celebrating

00:49because we worshipped him, we followed all his orders.

00:54Now, after Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, we worship him.

00:59So this is obligatory for us

01:06if there is someone who can celebrate, at least a majority.

01:12The group also clarified that they were not forced to go to the mosques to pray.

01:17The prayer should be in the heart and serious.

01:20For example, if there is a valid reason that you cannot celebrate,

01:26there is no problem.

01:27Because the Lord told us that he did not force us to do what he told us to do.

01:36They also said that they can pray at home and thank their God.

01:40This was an example of the pandemic

01:42where almost all celebrations and prayers are held at home.

01:46The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos also gave a reminder

01:50that Ramadan is not just about worship.

01:53We were trained during Ramadan to do good deeds,

01:56to pray extra, to give charity, to do good deeds,

02:03to avoid bad deeds.

02:05We need to remember that now that Ramadan is over,

02:10we should not forget the good deeds that we did during Ramadan.

02:20Imam Sawadi also gave a reminder that Ramadan should be a holiday

02:23so that their faith will be strengthened.
