The Friends of Haigh Woodland Park had a combined event, with the first day of the crazy golf course summer season coinciding with the official opening of their new, purpose-built, on-site workshop.

00:33Thanks for inviting me here today to the new cabin we're also opening Crazy Golf for another year.

00:37Massive thanks to all the volunteers and the work that's done here day in day out and as you can see

00:41here it's a real credit to the park here and I think what some people forget is all the developments

00:47that's going on here is magnificent but this is where it all started many many years ago when

00:52really the park was downtrodden this was the start of the build so thank you to everybody

00:57for what you've done and what you continue to do so thank you.

01:13It is down to the volunteers that work here all the businesses and everybody

01:19it is a real family affair and it really is exciting how it's going to move forward

01:24and how things are moving but every week is something different here but people don't

01:29see the work that goes on in winter as well as summer so it is fantastic so get down here

01:35it is really the cheap get down here and pay a pound and enjoy yourself with your family and it

01:43really is a credit to the park and all the work that's gone on so once again thank you keep coming

01:48and all you volunteers keep working here because it is a fantastic achievement.
