The Mayor of Manchester Andy Burnham has today visited the Cotton Works site in Wigan as first phase nears completion.

00:00What can you tell us about the rest of the site now, because this is the...
00:04Well, it's a 17-acre brownfield site.
00:08We've started on Mill 1, which we'll be delivering this summer.
00:12We've started enabling works on Mill 3 to save that Grade 2 listed building,
00:16and hopefully start works on the second quarter of this year.
00:20Then, you know, there's ten phases upon this site
00:24that we want to deliver over a five-, six-year period, subject to funding.
