00:04I was honestly it took me afar like it took me back quite a bit because it's you know
00:10my clients a huge company that's been in motorsport has been one of the pioneers in motorsport and
00:16It's only now that they have a female driver under their helm
00:20And I think you know for me obviously being the very first one. It means everything to me
00:26It's it's my it's every it's why I do what I do. It's all it's why I made all the sacrifices

00:35Took all those risks just so I couldn't be here today, but in my head
00:39I just kept thinking you know being first is always amazing
00:42It's great, but I aspire to be one of many and you know
00:46I want to be a group of women in the sport that can compete alongside men equally in the same in the same machinery in
00:55The same platform and in you know to have a team like McLaren believe in that
01:00Believe that men and women can compete equally in the sport and that they have a female
01:05athlete driver
01:08In their program means the whole world it's been an incredible journey of course like
01:15Working in in and out of McLaren the long days and long hours in the sim all the debriefs the conversations the meetings
01:22Being an athlete it shades your whole mentality
01:26It shapes your whole personality and I've grown to be you know
01:29closer to the person that I want to become one day by learning the right values and and having the
01:34Discipline of what it takes to be, you know, I'm a client racing driver and obviously racing under the higher colors
01:41The McLaren car and it's been unbelievable. Honestly, like I still haven't processed all of it
01:47So, you know obviously where those colors it it means a lot
01:51Well, and it also means a lot to all your you're all your supporters and all your fans to see how far you've gone
01:58And plus, you know the fact that we've been mentioning this that you're like the you're your trailblazer actually for Filipino athletes in motorsport
02:06You're not just the first but I mean, of course, it's a big deal that you're the first Philip female driver in McLaren
02:12But for us, you know first female first Filipino, that's such a big deal for all of us
