00:22to discuss some projects for the next three years.
00:26His first target is the construction of megafood hubs.
00:29There are so many volumes of vegetables, meat, everything agricultural produce that is traded every day.
00:38And then around this, there are cold storages and all support infrastructures.
00:45He will be able to help to reduce the high or low supply and price of agricultural products
00:51and avoid incidents such as dropping tomatoes.
00:56The President initially agreed on these concepts.
01:00One will be placed in Clark, another one will be placed in Quezon province.
01:08Clark will serve North Luzon, and then Quezon will serve Southern Tagalog plus Bicol.
01:16And then there will be also some sort of similar projects in Luzon, in Visayas and Mindanao.
01:22The D.A. based its concept on their visit to Thailand last month.
01:26They allocated P3.75 billion in the budget for this, which is possible to start in the next year.
01:33Aside from this, the D.A. also allocated the next projects.
01:37The Pipe Irrigation Network System, P25 billion,
01:41waterways like what is being done in Vietnam,
01:46the White Revolution, the construction of greenhouses
01:51so that we can also use our fertigation and drip irrigation,
01:57and then the massive replanting for coconut, among others.
02:01These projects are in line with the President's vision for food security.
