The hoopla and pump might still be in the air.

But Coach Dwight Yorke isn't getting carried away by the win, insisting that there is still room for improvement.

00:00Reflecting on the match, coach of the team Dwight York said he encouraged the
00:04team to play aggressively with the intention of extending the lead against
00:07Cuba. First to begin with I'm very happy with the outcome of the game that we
00:13went on to win the game relatively comfortable although the sending off
00:20might obviously have played a part in it. I like the team how we approached the
00:24game we talked about being aggressive and stay on the front foot and try to
00:30extend the lead rather than try to protect the lead. However he did note
00:33that there was room for improvement. Overall I'm happy with how we played but
00:40there's so many things that I'm not particularly happy with and the way how
00:45we the transition of the football and giving it away to pass with some sloppy
00:50passes at times really you know cause our own problems rather than really
00:56taking control especially when they went down to the 10 men but overall I can't
01:01be too critical. York said there's room now to celebrate after qualifying for
01:06the Gold Cup but they are aware of the challenges ahead regarding qualification
01:11for the World Cup. They are second in Group B in the second round of the
01:15tournament. We have a small matter to deal with and that's obviously St.
01:19Kitts Nevis on the 6th of June and Costa Rica on the 10th of June and as we
01:25know there are two teams that qualified for the knockout group stages and so we
01:30got some work to do and so St. Kitts Nevis will be our major focus going
01:35forward. I think there were a couple of sort of friendlies in between that will
01:40will probably be highlighted as as the months and weeks certainly looking
01:46forward to that but ultimately we are back refocusing and make sure that we
01:51we get to that knockout stage competition. He called for more support
01:56from the private sector as they attempt to advance further in the competition
02:00with the hopes of once again making it to a World Cup. Sergio Dufour, TV6 Sport.
