A firefighting helicopter with one pilot crashed while battling forest fires in South Korea’s southeastern Uiseong County on Wednesday (March 26). The 73-year-old pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.

00:00A firefighting helicopter with one pilot crashed while battling forest fires in South Korea's
00:07southeastern Wiseong County on Wednesday.
00:10Reports said the helicopter went down on a mountain at around 12.54pm.
00:15The 73-year-old pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:21An eyewitness gave his account of the incident.
00:51Following the crash, the Korea Forest Service temporarily grounded all firefighting helicopters,
01:04resuming operations at 3.30pm.
01:08The helicopters had been deployed to combat wildfires that have been burning since last

01:13At least 19 people have died in the fires, with thousands of firefighters deployed and
01:18aided by the military in a bid to contain one of the country's worst forest fires in
