#TBT: The world's first same-sex wedding

20 years ago, these same-sex couples became the first in history to legally marry.

00:16It felt very, very special. We were of course nervous,

00:19but it was so special to be together in there,

00:21with all the other couples, and to be married.

00:30The Netherlands has come that far that gay couples can use a civil marriage,

00:45but we want to show the world that it's very important to us,

00:50and we hope that also other countries will follow the example.
