Brut. journalist Jami Male asked Robert Pattinson if he had ever landed a role without knowing what it was.
Pattinson said that he once dropped a project after he had "completely misread" a script, and he only discovered his mistake when he was speaking to the director "quite deep down the line."
He also said that while he was filming the "Twilight" movies, he did not realize that the films would become such a "phenomenon" in pop culture.
Robert Pattinson stars alongside @skylergisondo in A24's "Primetime," a film inspired by the true story of Chris Hansen and his recurring segment "To Catch a Predator" on NBC's "Dateline" in the early 2000s.
"Primetime" releases in theaters across the US on September 25.
