00:00Is this the end of the Giants quarterback questions this offseason?

00:04Has New York figured out their bridge cap at the QB spot for the 2025 campaign?

00:10We shall see. But with the acquisition over the weekend of Jameis Winston,

00:15at least there is a quarterback in-house that the Giants maybe can rely on.

00:21Two-year, $8 million deal could be worth up to $16 million in terms of incentives.

00:27After a year in Cleveland, where Jameis actually started plenty more games than we probably thought

00:32entering 2024, he is now at least probably the starter for the New York Giants entering 2025.

00:40Again, the G-Men still hold the third overall pick. We'll see how the quarterback draft class

00:44does shake out DRS in just over a month in that opening round. But right now,

00:50it's the Jameis Winston show for the G-Men. Yeah, you couldn't just have a Tommy DeVito

00:55run wild and there is the only quarterback and maybe draft one here. You got to get somebody

00:59that's been around the block and had some success in the NFL. And I like this move for the Giants.

01:03I also like this for betting purposes. There's no better quarterback in the NFL if you like

01:07totals than Jameis Winston. Big play, touchdown, big play, touchdown, the other way with a pig six.

01:12It'll be fun to watch to see how the Giants do. And also, if Jameis does turn out to be

01:16their starting quarterback this year, he doesn't add any more wins than you normally would get

01:21just under a serviceable player. And that's exactly what you're looking for for the Giants.

01:24It's not about wins this year. Don't care if you're a fan of the Giants. It's not about winning.

01:28If you do get your quarterback in the draft, let's just say you say three and Shador Sanders is there.

01:33That's the guy you always wanted. Fantastic. You have Jameis Winston there. Maybe Jameis starts

01:39a game or two, but he still has a live arm that you can bring off of the bench. So I like where

01:44the Giants are going. Aaron Rodgers was the absolute worst case scenario for the Giants

01:49as an organization and their fan base because he would have won one or two more football games.

01:53You never would have got your starting quarterback and away you go. So at least at this point,

01:56you know Jameis is not going to add a single win, but we'll add some fun for the Giants

02:00and at least he can run the offense.
