00:00Our first game of the round of 32 on Saturday afternoon

00:04ended the March Magic for McNeese. It was Purdue

00:08and really Purdue all 40 minutes long. DRS the game that we broke down

00:12early on Friday taking that early look at the early lines

00:16for the rest of the weekend. You were saying you loved Purdue minus five and a

00:20half they closed as a six and a half point favorite

00:23and that was the way it went. The Boilermakers in control the entirety of

00:27it winning 76-62 handing McNeese a loss the end of an

00:32era in Lake Charles for Will Wade officially now signing the contract as

00:36NC State's new head coach. The Boilermakers honor the sweet 16 for

00:40a sixth time in the last eight seasons. Yeah and what

00:44it's pretty incredible too because Purdue is ultra efficient. You figured

00:47they wouldn't turn the basketball. They actually had 19 turnovers in that game

00:50and still wanted going away with ease. Who knows if they didn't turn the

00:53basketball over how much more of a margin that would have been on the 76

00:56to 62. I did get caught up a little bit on a parlay where I needed Braden Smith

01:00along with Purdue to win the game to make three three-point shots

01:03drops two in the first nine minutes of the first half. I don't even think he

01:06scored the rest of the way but again you're not playing your best basketball

01:10and easily dispatching of opponents. The one question mark we had too is

01:13we knew McNeese was going to be athletic and try to play great defense

01:16but the offense might be lacking. Five of 13 from the free-throw line only

01:2038 percent 33 percent from the three-point line and 46 percent

01:24total as a team at that point. Usually when you're in the turnover margin by

01:28that much you keep yourself in the ball game

01:29like they played against Clemson but Purdue my handicap in this was

01:33an efficient offense going up against an inefficient team in McNeese State.

01:37Eventually the cream would rise to the top and it did in that game

01:4038 to 20 at the break. It was over immediately.
