Palarong Bicol kicks off

Over 8,000 athletes from the six provinces of Bicol Region gather in Legazpi City as the Palarong Bicol 2025 kicks off today. Dancers of the Banquerohan National High School in Legazpi City perform during the Ibalong Festival dance on Sunday afternoon at Bicol University ground stand to welcome the delegates from Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Catanduanrs, Masbate and Albay. Legazpi City is the host of this year's Palarong Bicol. Gilbert Sadsad, DepEd Bicol regional director, said that Bicol is developing its athletes to select the best who will represent the region in the Palarong Pambansa.
