Pulpit panels reinstalled in Cebu church

Four pulpit panels, missing for over four decades, are officially reinstalled at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Patrocinio de Maria Santisima in Boljoon, Cebu, during a pontifical Mass led by Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma on March 21, 2025. The panels, recently returned by the National Museum of the Philippines, were placed alongside a fifth panel held by the Archdiocese of Cebu. A vacant space remains on the pulpit for the sixth and final panel, which has yet to be recovered. The ceremony was attended by local officials, led by Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, National Museum Director General Jeremy Barns, National Commission for Culture and the Arts Chairman Victorino Mapa Manalo and Church officials.
