Suspended Cavite lawmaker arrives in Cebu to visit disaster victims  Suspended Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko Barzaga arrives in Cebu on Dec. 4, 2025, to visit victims of the recent calamities here. He entered the lobby of the domestic terminal at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, which was hosting the city’s ongoing tree lighting ceremony, where many greeted him, shook hands and took photos as he moved through the area. Barzaga is currently serving a 60-day suspension after the House of Representatives adopted the Ethics and Privileges Committee’s recommendation following a complaint filed against him. During an interview with media covering the tree lighting event, Barzaga said he would remain in Cebu only until Dec. 5, 2025.  He expressed hopes of meeting with local officials who shared his political views, specifically mentioning Cebu Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, a known supporter of former president Rodrigo Duterte. 01:08Well, no, we may have time, but the problem is that one day flight time, one day lang kami dito,

01:13tapos kami kailangan ako ng class mabahing tomorrow night.

01:16So, there are times when I'd like to leave with it, especially Comparicuatro,

01:20and the local officials and everyone else, I'd like to spend this much time as possible speaking to them

01:29and meeting them and getting to know the differences and the individual problems and problems of their LGBTs.

01:37One last thing, sorry for asking this, what are our plans for the next two months?

01:44Well, Christmas break muna, so enjoy it.

01:46Kaya kami sa mga, especially yung mga congressman na very close within their LGUs,

01:51ang focus namin ngayon yung mga Christmas parties talaga, yung Dasma Day which is within this week already,

01:59oh, by next week na, and mga Christmas parties which will be in a couple of weeks,

02:05and then New Year's and yung mga plano bago ang programs namin for January.

02:10So, mostly focus on that, you know, and I'll have them now, and I'll have them now.
