00:12order of nature. The accused allegedly raped the 21-year-old victim in the storeroom of
00:18a clinic at Pantai Dalam between 4am and 5am on Saturday. The rape charge, framed under
00:26Section 375B of the Penal Code and punishable under Section 3761, carries up to 20 years
00:33in prison and whipping upon conviction. The second charge, under Section 377C, carries
00:41a prison term of 5 to 20 years with caning. Sessions Judge Mohamed Zaki Mohamed Saleh
00:48granted 18,000 ringgit bail with one surety and imposed conditions, including passport
00:54surrender, twice-monthly police check-ins and a no-contact order with prosecution witnesses.
