00:00The new Macan. 100% electric. 100% Porsche.

00:11In order to meet the high standards of design and efficiency,

00:15the design was jointly developed by aerodynamics engineers and designers.

00:21The air for braking cooling flows as well as the air for the cooling circuit through the front air inlet.

00:28The movable flaps regulate the air flow as needed.

00:31This improved the aerodynamics and at the same time the typical sporty front of the Macan could be retained.

00:39The cladding of the front and rear axles connect seamlessly to the battery,

00:44so that the underbody is fully closed,

00:47which leads to another significant improvement in aerodynamics and efficiency.

00:52The wheels have a closed design,

00:55which together with aerodynamically optimized tire flanks contributes to a good CW value.

01:01Driving dynamics and design benefit from the up to 22 inch wheels

01:06and the pronounced mixed tire with significantly wider tires on the rear axle.

01:12In addition, active elements are used with Porsche Active Aerodynamics on the front and rear.

01:19The bow has air curtains and active cooling air flaps.

01:23On the rear axle, the adaptive rear spoiler provides a necessary and speed-adjusted drive.

01:30It drives in three stages, depending on the driving situation.

01:35All these measures have led to an impressive CW value of 0.25,

01:41which is a tenth better than the predecessor model.

01:44An enormous improvement!

01:47The Porsche-typical flyline of the new Macan

01:50looks even more coupe-like thanks to frameless doors and a flat rear window.

01:56Thanks to the innovative developments in aerodynamics and the battery with 100 kWh,

02:02the new Macan reaches a range of up to 613 km.

02:08And the Macan Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in 3.3 seconds.
