Kanye West's wild claim Kim Kardashian is pimping out their kids strikes people close to her as laughable -- especially considering he's been hanging with the controversial Tate brothers ... TMZ has learned.

00:34It's glitter makeup and like stickers and that sort of stuff.

00:37Sources close to Kim tell us these accusations are laughable, seeing as Kanye put North on

00:41a song featuring accused sex trafficker Diddy.

00:44Not only that, we're told during one of North's visits with Kanye.

00:48The security guards that Kim sends with North said, hey we just heard the Tate brothers

00:53are on their way here and she said get her out of there right now.

00:57Both brothers accused of sexual assaults and trafficking, so for Kanye to be spouting this

01:02nonsense.

01:03He has no moral high ground.

01:05We all know that.

01:06The real issue is, what does Kim do?

01:08Why doesn't she just go to court and get full custody of her kids?

01:11Here's the thing, Kanye has almost no contact with these kids.

01:15He wants her to take him to court because he wants that drive.

01:19It's easy to say go to court, but then you have to deal with Kanye.

01:23He's a loose cannon, he can do anything.

01:25It doesn't matter Keith, she has a responsibility to her children.

01:28What if Kanye shows up at the school to try and commandeer the kids?

01:31Then you take him to jail.

01:33What if the judge says no, I'm not going to do that?

01:34She has all the resources in the world to try this.

01:37She should try it.
