Swimmers brave intense waves as Cyclone Alfred sends surging water into Sydney pool

And just like that, in a matter of seconds, the difficulty level of the swimming session on display jumped from 'intermediate' to 'advanced.'

"I was watching the swimmers at the Bondi Icebergs Club in Sydney when Cyclone Alfred caused huge waves to crash into the swimming pool," the filmer, Chloe, told WooGlobe. "The footage shows Aussie swimmers continuing to swim through the massive waves."

Despite being hit by the intense surf, the swimmers refused to back down and continued enjoying their day.
