00:01Let's have a swim.
00:46Are you going in?
00:49Yeah, definitely, yeah.
00:51We haven't been in since the events of last week, so it's really been great to get in
00:56with everyone together and feel that sense of safety and the support here.
01:15Interesting.
01:17It felt safe.
01:19It felt really safe.
01:19I guess there's always safety in numbers, but the community feeling was incredible.
01:23I don't think we see this many people in the water in summer.
01:25So, pretty amazing.
01:27It was a really nice feeling.
01:42I can, to be honest, I'm a part of the surf club myself and I've seen on a number of
01:47occasions
01:48how the community pulls together.
01:49And I think it really hasn't surprised me the amount of people that's come down.
01:53But I think it's just so encouraging and so heartwarming to see everyone to pull together
01:58for Lea.
02:20100%.
02:20Yeah.
02:21Yeah.
02:21Like, I wouldn't have been swimming alone for sure.
02:23And when I see everyone going around and have a lap, yeah, I wouldn't be alone here if,
02:29yeah, I wouldn't swim alone.
02:31Many of you likely knew Lea, having walked, swam, lived alongside her over the years.
02:36She's a kind of breast cancer treatment.
02:39She's always been here for Anzac Day Dawn service.
02:42And a lap of the bay, head slightly further north.
02:47Danny and...
02:48It's incredible.
02:48You can't expect this at all.
02:49It's so heartwarming.
02:50The talk before really brought it home how important it all is that the community get
02:55together.
02:55And it's incredible that everyone comes and, you know, rallies around when need be.
03:00All right.
