When the sea looks calm from a distance, it can still have other plans at the edge.
The clip shows rough water pushing in at high tide as waves break against the seafront.
“I went down to watch the waves from a safe height and distance. I caught a person getting too close and splashed by the waves,” the filmer, Lauren, told WooGlobe.
The moment lands as a quick reminder of how fast conditions can change along an exposed shoreline.
The scene was filmed in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, during an orange rain warning. WooGlobe Ref : WGA380615 For licensing and to use this video, please email licensing@wooglobe.com
