Well, Zoe, as always, the PHBA, thank you for the lead-in, is one of the sponsors of
00:05
the TDN Writer's Room.
00:06
And again, we're going to be talking about Meet the 2025 Pennsylvania Stallions.
00:11
We've been doing that every week now.
00:12
Now we look at the roster of Mountain Springs Farm in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, the state's
00:16
largest thoroughbred stallion station.
00:19
Leading their roster of stallions is Enticed, who stands for $5,000.
00:23
He raced and formerly stood at Darley.
00:26
Enticed is a sudden Medaglia d'Oro.
00:28
He won graded stakes on turf and dirt at two and three, and he was even a top 10 first
00:33
crop sire with 23 winners.
00:36
Mountain Springs is also the home to Uptown Charlie Brown, Pennsylvania's leading stallion
00:41
in both 2023 and 2024.
00:44
Uptown Charlie Brown is the son of Limehouse.
00:47
His progeny, as we've told you in the past, earned $2 million in Pennsylvania Breeders'
00:51
Awards in the last two years alone.
00:54
And Charlie stands for a $3,000 fee.
00:56
Some of the other stallions there, Eastwood, go ahead and make my day, by Spicetown, 2023's
01:02
leading PA stallion by average earnings, black type horses, and winners to starters.
01:07
He stands for $2,000.
01:09
Son of Kirlin, Alejandro, stands for $1,500.
01:11
Beverly Park by Munnings, $1,500.
01:14
Type 10, son of Tappet, stands for $2,500.
01:17
Uncle Benny by Declaration of War, $2,500, and well spelled by Spellbinder at $1,500.
01:24
To learn more about these stallions and much more about the Pennsylvania Breeding Program,
01:29
you can take a look at the 2025 Stallion and Boarding Farm Directory online at pabred.com,
01:34
or you can call that number, 610-444-1050.
01:38
PA bred, I think we've built a brand at this point.
01:46
It's excitement at every step.
01:50
Roses for Deborah just set a new track record.
01:53
On average, for the past decade, Pennsylvania paid over $28 million a year in Breeders'
01:58
Awards, restricted races, and owner bonuses.
02:01
Plus, PA bred shine on the world's biggest stage.
02:04
Just three states have bred more Breeders' Cup winners.
