00:00Who's going to be this year's leading first crop sire?

00:05We checked in with a few horsemen at the Tattersall's Craven Breeze Upsale to get their opinion.

00:12As a yearling consigner, I sold four Cameco's and I had two of them on the farm at home

00:18with me and I adored the two I had and when I got to the sales, I really, really liked

00:23the two I sold.

00:24So I bred a mare to him and I'm a big Cameco fan.

00:28I think he's up against it.

00:29I think there's a really strong group.

00:31I'd like a couple of the others too, but if I have to pick one at the moment, it's him.

00:37It might take the whole year for it to happen for him.

00:41He might not have too many early ones, but I'd say Midsomer Almertz, I'm a big Cameco

00:45fan.

00:46Like, Sotsass is in exactly the same boat.

00:50I just didn't have as many in my hands.

00:52I like him and I bred a mare to Pinatubo and I bred a mare to Earthlight.

00:59I'd say Pinatubo has a serious chance.

01:01There was a horse here yesterday, breezed very well, Johnny Collins sold and he looks

01:07to be his best horse and I'd say he's a serious chance.

01:11Hello Jumzane, because he has lots of very nice stock, lots of them are in good hands.

01:18I think he's got a great chance of clocking up a lot of winners in France, in a country

01:23where the TRL racing isn't perhaps quite as strong.

01:26Equally, there'll be a good number of them in this part of the world too, i.e. England

01:30and Ireland.

01:31I don't think he's going to get very precocious horses on the whole, but I could see him getting

01:35really going in the second half of the season.

01:40Well I fancy Cameco.

01:41I like what I've seen by him, I saw some lovely yearlings by him and we've used them ourselves

01:46and I bought his only Fallen Gots, so I'm a believer.

01:53Pinatubo.

01:54I just think he's a good horse, he's got class and I think he'll shine through.

01:59One horse who could be a bit of a surprise package is Gaeth.

02:02He's not bred to have early two-year-olds, but the horse I saw this week breezed very

02:06fast and a lot of positive reports and he has the class and the pedigree to potentially

02:12be a top-class stallion and by the end of the season I could see him having a lot of winners.
