00:04A couple of first four games on this Wednesday evening and let's

00:08dive through the bracket.

00:09Look at where the odds stand at this moment round of 64 action in

00:13a women's NCAA tourney that begins on Friday.

00:17We had some compelling narratives playing out on selection Sunday

00:21on the four line on the one line, excuse me, all four number one

00:24seeds hailing from just two leagues.

00:27That would be UCLA number one overall seed and USC both now in the

00:32Big Ten South Carolina and Texas both out of the SEC both of those

00:38two teams from either league played each other in their tournament

00:42title games UCLA victorious South Carolina victorious.

00:46Now, let's correlate it to the odds South Carolina booked as the

00:49favorite to go back to back what they have done under Don Staley is

00:53remarkable three national championships since 2017 a plus 230 price

00:59on the Gamecocks as that short favorite to win a national championship

01:03of Paige Becker's and Yukon not a one seed but a two seed in USC's

01:08portion of the bracket plus 250 as you see UCLA the number one overall

01:15seed favor to get to a final for a six to one number Texas also on the

01:20one line 7 to 1 USC a one seed 8 to 1 in Notre Dame at 13 to 1.

01:26One of my favorite things that we have started to experience in women's

01:29college basketball, which was not the case really for a large part of

01:32the last decade is parody in this sport.

01:35Yes, South Carolina has won three titles in the last seven years or

01:39so, but there was a time when Yukon win four in a row and expected to

01:43win four in a row and you can see that in where the odds reflect.

01:47We've got six teams that enter the big dance all at a 13 to 1 price or

01:53shorter.

01:53So let's start by going region by region number one overall seed that

01:57being the Bruins of UCLA the champions of the Big 10 led by one of the

02:01best bigs in college basketball.

02:03That is Lauren Betts region one Spokane that is UCLA's region where

02:08they are the top overall seed minus 140 for UCLA to win region one

02:14Spokane and of course get to a final for LSU there as well.

02:19Plus 470 NC State at a 6 to 1 number.

02:24I believe the Wolfpack are the two seed in that region.

02:27The Bayou Bengals a lot of talent still under Kim Mulkey flage Johnson

02:31has been a little bit injured down the stretch.
