00:05Sembei searched carefully to find a stallion prospect worthy of filling the space on their stallion roster.

00:11They found such a horse in multiple Group 1 winner and globetrotter, Mishrif.

00:15Mishrif arrived rather soon after the British Cup.

00:20He settled in well, being a top class horse, an international winner, a globetrotting superstar,

00:28and being very attractive.

00:30He was one of a kind horse.

00:34He won a derby, and there are only a handful of derby winners each year,

00:40but only a few, even fewer, go on to become superstars

00:46and be consistent and repeat their forms in the long run, which he did.

00:52The first big score was the French Jockey Club, the French Derby, of course.

00:57He won a second time in France in Group 2, Guillaume Dordano, in the summer.

01:01His breakthrough was when he was four, so he went on a winning streak

01:08starting in February in the Saudi Cup, on the dirt, on nine furlongs.

01:13And he won, three weeks later, in Dubai, about 12 furlongs on the turf.

01:19He came back to win the Juddmont International in the summer, by six lengths.

01:42He comes from a maternal line, which has been in the hands of Prince Faisal for 40 years, I think.

01:50He is a descendant of Blue Hen Rafa, who is the dam to Invincible Spirit and Kodiak.

01:59So, you know, it's an ever-blooming family.

02:02It's really a long-term selection, and this is the result of it.

02:07Of course, we will send him a number of mares of ourselves and Prince Faisal as well.

02:15We expect to have around 100 mares covered, plus on top of ours.

02:40And, well, it's not a trifle to find a replacement for such a horse.
