00:06from Spendthrift sire Maximus Mischief when he'll be well represented at the upcoming

00:11Fasig-Tipton July sale.

00:13But first, we spoke with Mark Toothaker about the TDN Rising Star and popular son of Into

00:19Mischief.

00:20Max, going into July, I think he's going to have as much hype as any stallion out there.

00:27He's a horse that gets the right type physical and he was so fast himself.

00:33They're going to be horses that, you know, people can go over there and buy right and

00:38give them a real chance at the track or going back at the two-year-old sales.

00:44This colt out of Lucy Buckner, he is the second foal out of a Stormy Atlantic mare.

00:50John Greathouse and myself, when we bid on him and got him at the price that we got him

00:56looked at each other and high-fived.

00:58I mean, we were thrilled.

01:00He is a very strong colt.

01:02He has a huge hip and shoulder.

01:04He is bred to be fast and just thrilled with how he has come along through sales prep.

01:10You know, I've had him since he was purchased and he just hasn't had a bad day.

01:17On the Maximuses, as we've seen around the sales, you know, what has helped them, I feel

01:21like, sell the way they have has been that they've got the leg.

01:25You know, they've got the endomystium body on them, great hips, but they've also got

01:30more leg.

01:32We knew there was a lot of excitement for the horse and we felt like that the facing

01:37guys as they're out doing their inspections, you know, we're going to find a lot of these

01:40things they liked and for him to wind up with the most in the July sale really says something

01:46about it, how cool a horse he is.

01:49You know, he's a horse that really has grown since he was here.

01:51He was always a big kind of baby Huey, a little bit when he come off the track, you

01:56know, for a horse to be that big to, you know, win his first four starts, win the Rimson,

02:02being into mischief and be that big is even more amazing because that's normally something,

02:07you know, we don't see a lot.

02:08He's the real deal as he opens up late, a belated rally from network effect, Maximus

02:14Mischief wins the Rimson.

02:17We went to the November sale hoping to get a Maximus Mischief because we had seen and

02:25heard about their, their appearance so much like into mischief.

02:30They are very athletic looking foals that had great walks and strong shoulders and hips.

02:40I think primarily when they were pulled out of the barn, you would not have known it wasn't

02:46a into mischief biggest thing has been for him is he's by into mischief and he was undefeated

02:53two year old and he's price right price.

02:57Anybody can afford and who wouldn't want, you know, to breed to a son of into mischief.
