00:27interview with The Times that it has been a weird 10 years. Other than the
00:32Pernis allegations, in the last 10 years the star broke up with Sherlock actor
00:37Martin Freeman after sharing 16 years together. Subsequently she became engaged
00:43to Jonathan Goodwin who was left paralysed from the waist down after
00:47suffering from an accident in preparation for America's Got Talent
00:50Extreme. Abbington also experienced bankruptcy over an £120,000
00:56tax bill in 2013. In 2023 the actress had also been called out for transphobic
01:03comments regarding a drag show. Abbington informed The Times that the couple had
01:08originally planned to get married in 2025 but had postponed it until 2026 due
01:14to litigation in relation to her partner Goodwin. Both parties shared they were
01:20feeling definitely on the roller coaster.
