00:15The Philippine Coast Guard or PCG District Central Visayas has intensified its Vessel
00:20Safety Enforcement Inspection or VSEI in Cebu, Bohol and Camotas Islands.
00:26PCG Central Visayas District Commander Commodore Winiel Ascuna explained that VSEI conducts a
00:33more thorough assessment to ensure that vessels comply with the maritime industry's established
00:39regulations.
00:56Based on PCG's data, approximately 95% of vessel operators immediately complied after their
01:17deficiencies were identified during the inspection. The Coast Guard also encourages passengers to
01:23report any deficiencies or violations they observe on their vessel through a QR code posted
