00:00I wasn't going to speak on this issue but there's been a lot of talk about

00:07domestic violence in regards to this and I want to point out that it's violence

00:15against women. I'm a survivor of a random rape and had nothing to do with

00:23domestic violence. Councillor Mason is right about misogyny and that teaching

00:33that and just you need to teach the girls not just about relationships or

00:43healthy relationships, it's men and boys in general on how to treat girls and

00:51giving that education to girls in how to protect themselves. So I just want it not

00:59to be an emphasis on domestic violence but violence against girls. Thank you.
