00:00There are no more middlemen or fixers in obtaining travel clearance for minors who want to travel abroad.

00:07Travel clearance is issued by the DSWD for children or adolescents under the age of 18 who want to travel abroad

00:15who do not have a parent or legal custody of the child.

00:19According to the DSWD's Assistant Secretary, Ad Colico,

00:23only through the Minors Traveling Abroad or MTA online system can a child obtain travel clearance.

00:32The MTA will only receive a QR code or a notarized documentary to verify that the document is legal.

00:39The maximum processing time for this is only three days.
