00:00Cooper Cup was officially released by the LA Rams yesterday, and he's still a free agent.

00:08Why are the Patriots leaving him dangling out there like a participle?

00:25the 7th round pick, to the Rams, bringing Cooper Cup.

00:29Yeah, you absorb the contract, but you can rework it, as Curtis will tell you, the cap is crap.

00:33You can just rework the contract, you don't have to pay half of it anyways, because the Rams guaranteed that money.

00:37So it's really only like $27 million over two years that you're technically responsible for if you use the old contract.

00:45Or you can rework it and give him a brand new one. You can literally just shred it and give him a brand new one.

00:50And they didn't do that, now he's a free agent, now any team can talk to him, and yet here we are,

00:5618 hours after the start of the NFL League year, and he's still a free agent.

01:02How have the Patriots not been beating down his door to get him in the building? I just don't get it.

01:53Yeah, and Matt Collins, who is basically a journeyman, third down, a third, fourth receiver.

02:02Yes, so there's no way that, and Vrabel's too smart for, as a coach, as somebody who's been in the league for a number of years,
