00:23A part of this initiative is the assistance of KLUK PH,
00:27an online booking application where DOT Region 12 announced
00:32that the tour packages of Sock Surgeon will soon be available
00:36for the wider digital presence of the region.
00:54Last February 27, we invited two tour operators from Sock Surgeon
01:01so that we can enroll our tour packages
01:04so that people from outside of the Philippines wanting to visit the region
01:09will have a ready package when they want to visit.
01:14The partnership of DOT and KLUK aims to make it easier to plan a trip
01:19through curated digital packages using KLUK's online platform
01:24for wider access.
01:26DOT also launched the Travel PH app as an important digital tool
01:31that provides access to accredited destinations and travel information.
01:36It recorded more than 71,000 downloads last year.
01:41The Department of Tourism encouraged tourists,
01:44especially backpackers, to use digital resources
01:48to make traveling easier and more comfortable.
