AccuWeather app feature shows hourly forecasts for daily activities

AccuWeather provides hour-by-hour temperatures as well as weather conditions on the AccuWeather app.

00:08One of the ways that we help people to do that on the AccuWeather app is the hourly

00:12forecast information.

00:13We'll take a deep dive into that today to show you the benefits and how much data is

00:18available from an hourly forecast, all to help you make the best decisions for outdoor

00:22plans and other activities.

00:24And when you go into the AccuWeather app and you go to the main screen, of course, you

00:27have the latest local forecast, current conditions, what's happening right now, and AccuWeather's

00:31exclusive minute class.

00:32But when you tap on hourly, at the bottom of the screen, that brings up the hour by

00:37hour forecast.

00:38And you can see the temperature, expected weather conditions, and also the risk for

00:43measurable precipitation and how much rain might occur at a particular hour.

00:47And the other thing that you could do is tap on any of these hours in order to be able

00:52to see more details, so more descriptions of what's going to occur, the AccuWeather

00:56real feel, the AccuWeather real feel shade, as well as other parameters, too, including

01:01the percent cloud cover, the dew point visibility, many different parameters all available for

01:06you.

01:07And you can graph it out.

01:08Take a look at the top here on the display.

01:11We have temperature, rain, air quality.

01:13If you tap on any of those areas, you're able to look at that particular parameter.

01:17So I'm going to, here in Nashville, where we're going to be expecting some thunderstorms

01:21here as we head through the next couple of days, I'm going to scroll through these hourly

01:24forecasts over to Saturday and look at the hours in the morning with the greatest risk

01:29for thunderstorms, how much rain will fall, and what the probability of rainfall is.

01:33And you could do that for other types of weather parameters as well.
