00:12According to the NFA, the program includes 1.5 billion pesos in the fund for the repair of their warehouses.
00:203.5 billion pesos will be allocated to increase the storage capacity of the agency to 800,000 metric tons.
00:30According to NFA Administrator Larry Lackson, this will help to solve the increasing demand for rice.
00:38The agency is also targeting to add rice mills and drying facilities
00:43that will increase the rice recovery rate and will bring increased income to the farmers.
00:50For now, the agency will continue to compose their warehouses, including the one in Bulacan.
00:57As of 2027, it is expected that the project will be fully functional before the harvest season.
