00:00The price of pork will be expected to go down with the implementation of the Maximum Suggested Retail Price this coming day.

00:15Naomi, today is the first day of the implementation of the Maximum Suggested Retail Price of pork in Metro Manila.
00:22According to the sellers here at Mega Q Mart, the price of pork will also go down from Php 10 to Php 20 per kilo.
00:36The Department of Agriculture issued the Maximum Suggested Retail Price of pork,
00:41Php 350 per kilo of MSRP for pork shoulder or kasim,
00:45while Php 380 per month for pork belly or liempo.
00:49This is effective starting today.
00:51According to the DA, they will conduct a periodic review for a month from the implementation of pork MSRP.
00:57The price of pork has also dropped from the previous average of Php 250 to now only Php 230.
01:04The Maximum Suggested Retail Price of pork will also be implemented from Php 300 per kilo for the head or the price from trader to retailer.
01:12The DA will also go around to ensure that the market will follow the correct price of pork.
01:22According to the DA, even though the implementation of pork MSRP is only in Metro Manila,
01:28they are also studying the cost structure in other regions so that they can also export pork MSRP here.
