The police have confirmed that no Malaysians were involved in the shooting and explosion that occurred in Sungai Golok, Thailand on Saturday night.  Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat said security controls along the Malaysia-Thailand border will be tightened following the incident. 00:20The attack, which occurred around 7.10pm, saw assailants firing shots and throwing grenades

00:33The attack killed two Thai security personnel and injured eight others.

00:37Authorities revealed that around five grenades were thrown during the incident.

00:42Thai security forces have since launched an investigation and tightened security measures.
