Defending champs Central Sports lost their opener to Yorkshire on the super over at the Queen's Park Oval.

Yorkshire made 167 for 8, and then bowled out the opposition for the same score off the final ball.

In the one-over eliminator, Central made just one run, with Yorkshire doing the job with a six.

00:06Central Sports at the Queens Park Oval. Yorkshire was soon in trouble at 19 for 2
00:12with Amari Goodridge taking both the wickets. Ethan Gibson made 33 while
00:21Travon James chipped in with 34. But Brian Christmas was the top
00:29scorer with 44. Imran Khan was also among the wickets and took 2
00:37himself. And Goodridge ended with 4 as Yorkshire made 167 for 8 from 20 overs.
00:48When Central Sports responded they were in tatters from the onset. Aidan Racha
00:57and Devon Lord did the damage with white leather in hand. They shared the wickets
01:04to make it 25 for 5. Jesse Bhutan had his work cut out for him out in the
01:13middle. And so too did Roshan Primus as they were trying to do some repair work.
01:23Primus made 35 while Bhutan would go on to get a top score of 49.
01:35But wickets kept falling with Chris Patia taking 2.
01:43With one to win of the final ball there was a run out with Central Sports
01:51being dismissed for 167. And that's where Yorkshire took care of things by
02:02restricting Central Sports for one in the super over. Then came the winning
02:09blow to see Yorkshire take this humdinger in style.
