00:00The Department of Agriculture has approved an additional P10 billion for the rehabilitation of NFA warehouses and the purchase of rice.

00:08According to TA Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Arnel Demesa,

00:12part of it is the P5 billion that will be used for the purchase of new dryers and millers.

00:19The total amount is P1.5 billion for the rehabilitation of warehouses and P3.5 billion

00:26for the purchase of new NFA warehouses.

00:30Meanwhile, the rice buffer stock of NFA increased to 880,000 metric tons within just 15 days.

00:39This is higher than the national buffer stock in the Siam a few days ago.
