Chile has managed to restore electricity to approximately 90% of the country's homes

following a massive blackout that affected most of its territory.

This blackout, which extended from the Arica region in the north to Los Lagos in the south,

left millions of people without electricity and paralyzed essential services such as the

subway and mining.

President Gabriel Boric declared a state of emergency and established a curfew to guarantee

The National Electricity Coordinator activated a recovery plan to restore service as soon
