00:00We're going to be doing something else that's going to be very, very good.
00:20We're going to be selling a gold card.
00:25You have a green card.
00:27This is a gold card.
00:28We're going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million, and that's going
00:32to give you green card privileges plus.
00:35It's going to be a route to citizenship, and wealthy people will be coming into our country
00:40by buying this card.
00:42They'll be wealthy, and they'll be successful, and they'll be spending a lot of money and
00:46paying a lot of taxes and employing a lot of people.
00:49And we think it's going to be extremely successful.
00:52Never been done before anything like this, but it's something that we're going to be
00:55putting out over the next, would you say, two weeks out?
00:58Two weeks.
00:59Do you want to say a couple of words about it?
01:00Sure.
01:01Mr. President, are there any requirements for that gold card?
01:02Hang on a second.
01:03Do you have to invest a certain amount of money in this country in order to qualify
01:07for that gold card?
01:08Yeah, exactly.
01:09So the EB-5 program was really, you lend some money, but it was full of nonsense, make-believe,
01:18and fraud, and it was a way to get a green card that was low-priced.
01:23So the president said, rather than having this sort of ridiculous EB-5 program, we're
01:27going to end the EB-5 program, we're going to replace it with the Trump gold card, which
01:33is really a green card gold, so they'll be able to pay $5 million to the U.S. government.
01:38They'll have to go through vetting, of course.
01:40We're going to make sure they're wonderful, world-class, global citizens.
01:44They can come to America, the president can give them a green card, and they can invest
01:50in America, and we can use that money to reduce our deficit.
01:55Why do we give out lotteries of green cards?
01:57Why do we give out EB-5 for green cards?
01:59The president of the United States understands that the right answer is, why don't we eliminate
02:04the deficit of the United States of America instead?
02:08The gold card, the gold card, well, millions, but the gold card will bring in with it people
02:16that create jobs, very high-level people.
02:21I think companies will pay to get people in.
02:23For instance, you today graduate from the Wharton School of Finance or Harvard or Stanford
02:32or any college, and nobody knows if you can even go to work for a company.
02:38So Apple and all these companies that want to get people to be working for them will
02:43be able to buy a card, and for the people that are number one in their class at top
02:48schools, you know, I see that as one of the things.
02:52But generally speaking, it will be people with money and people that create jobs, and
02:56they won't have to pay any tax on income outside of the United States, which they're not paying
03:01right now.
03:02They're not citizens.
03:03But they'll have to pay if they create jobs in the United States, they'll pay full taxes
03:07like everybody else.
03:08So you're getting big taxpayers, big job producers, and we'll be able to sell maybe a million
03:15of these cards, maybe more than that.
03:18And if you add up the numbers, they're pretty good.
03:20As an example, a million cards would be worth $5 trillion, $5 trillion.
03:26And if you sell 10 million of the cards, that's a total of $50 trillion.
03:31Well, we have $35 trillion in debt.
03:34That'd be nice.
03:35So we'll see.
03:36But it could be great.
03:38Maybe it will be fantastic.
03:42We have it all worked out from the legal standpoint.
03:45It's totally legal to do.
03:48Has it been done before?
03:49It's been done in many different forms.
03:50We give them away.
03:52Why should we give them away?
03:53We shouldn't give them away.
