00:04a visa scheme allowing wealthy foreign individuals to secure the right to live in the United States

00:24Applications start with a $15,000 processing fee,

00:39He added the Gold Card would bring in applicants who could benefit the U.S. economy,
00:43comparing them to average green card holders,
00:45who he said earn less than typical Americans and are likely to rely on public assistance.
00:51The Trump administration hopes the scheme will generate more than $100 billion.
00:55It is also planning a platinum card.
00:58For $5 million, holders could spend up to 270 days a year in the U.S.
01:04without paying tax on income earned abroad.
01:07The announcement comes as the administration continues a broad immigration crackdown,
