00:00There's a popular belief among many young people

00:03that sexual satisfaction can diminish

00:05with time in long-term relationships.

00:07But it actually just takes a bit of work.

00:10Recent research from the University of Toronto

00:12recognized that effort is required

00:15if you wanna have a great sex life

00:16with your long-term partner.

00:18So don't expect it to be wonderful every time

00:20if you don't put in some work every now and then.

00:23A healthy relationship with communication and effort

00:26can equal a healthy and happy sex life.

00:29And number six, sex before an important event

00:32may lower your level of stress.

00:34Looks like sex may just help your grades

00:36on your university final exams.

00:39A 2006 research study published

00:41in the journal Biological Psychology

00:43had subjects take part in stressful activities.

00:46These included giving a public speech

00:49or taking a difficult math quiz.

00:51Subjects who had sex before the test

00:53had lower blood pressure and lower levels of stress.

00:56This was then compared to those who had no sex,

00:58those who masturbated,

00:59and those who had sexual contact without intercourse.

01:03The study even claims that penile-vaginal intercourse, PVI,

01:07but not other sexual behavior

01:09is associated with better psychological

01:11and physiological function.

01:13You may just have to thank not only yourself,
